Privacy Policy
How the Miyayu Lab website and Dopadopa Games handle information, cookies, analytics, and advertising.
Operator and scope
This policy applies to the miyayu.jp website operated by Miyayu Lab (the operator), including the blog, Dopadopa Games directory, and individual games. Apps and services with their own privacy policies are governed by those policies.
Cookies for game records and settings
The games store records, unlocked modes, audio settings, and similar preferences in browser cookies so you can continue playing on your next visit. These cookies are not used for advertising tracking.
Cookies are restricted to each game’s path and expire 365 days after being saved or updated. They are also sent to our hosting provider, Cloudflare, with requests to the relevant game. Cookie contents are not recorded in our custom analytics dataset.
You can delete or disable cookies in your browser. Deletion removes saved records and settings; disabling cookies may prevent the save feature from working.
Game leaderboards
If you participate in a leaderboard, we store a browser identifier in a cookie restricted to the ranking API path. It expires 365 days after your last use. The server stores a hash for matching the identifier and uses it to manage personal bests, name changes, and deletion. An identifier without public records is deleted 48 hours after its last use if it has no nickname, or one year after its last use if it has one. While public records exist, it is kept so those records can be managed. It is not used for advertising or our custom analytics.
We store challenge start and finish times, elapsed time, the game, and its rules version in Cloudflare D1. A completed result is initially saved privately. Your nickname and time become public only when you choose to submit the record. Name changes also apply to your existing personal bests. Duplicate names are allowed and do not establish anyone’s identity.
Public personal bests are retained until deleted or the service ends. Unpublished results expire 24 hours after completion, and unfinished challenges expire 24 hours after starting; scheduled cleanup removes them. Minimal abuse-prevention logs are deleted after 30 days. We do not store raw IP addresses in our ranking database or nicknames and authentication tokens in operational logs. A keyed hash that changes daily is used temporarily to limit requests from the same connection.
You can delete your public records and nickname from the leaderboard using the same browser. Deleting cookies alone does not remove public records from the server. If you lose the cookie, we cannot verify ownership automatically; please use the contact details below for deletion inquiries. The operator may hide records or names in response to abuse or inappropriate content.
Bot protection with Turnstile
Before a ranked challenge, Cloudflare Turnstile checks for automated access. Verification usually runs automatically and may ask you to interact when needed. Information including your IP address and browser information is transmitted to and processed by Cloudflare for verification. Practice play remains available if you cannot participate in the leaderboard.
Game usage measurement
We measure the following information to understand how the games are used, improve them, and identify problems.
- Game viewed, visible page time, time following recent interaction, and visible time by mode
- Counts of matches started and completed, mode unlock prompts, and mode unlocks
- In-game progress and results, such as how far a session went, when controls were used, and the outcome
- Share button clicks, clicks on links between games, and error counts
- Whether and when the first interaction occurred, and touch or pointer input environment
- A temporary identifier generated for each page load and the time data is received
Analytics identifiers
Our custom game measurement does not store analytics identifiers in cookies or localStorage. The temporary identifier changes when the page is reloaded and is not linked across tabs or future visits.
Our custom analytics dataset does not record names, email addresses, IP addresses, referrers, URL query strings, text you type, or error details. Data is grouped by page load before aggregation, so not all stored source data is already statistical data.
Data transmission and Cloudflare
We use Cloudflare Workers and Workers Analytics Engine, provided by Cloudflare, Inc. The measurement information listed above is sent through this site’s analytics API to Cloudflare infrastructure for storage. The operator uses it to analyze usage and improve the service.
Cloudflare processes traffic information, including IP addresses, routing data, and system configuration, to deliver the site, provide and maintain its services, and ensure security. Excluding IP addresses from our custom dataset does not mean the network infrastructure never processes them.

Cloudflare Web Analytics
Pages with Cloudflare Web Analytics enabled also measure page views, referrers, browser and device types, country-level location, and loading performance. The operator uses this information to understand traffic and improve page performance. The receiving service provider is Cloudflare, Inc.
Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use tracking cookies, localStorage, or fingerprinting. This is a separate service from our custom game measurement.
Google AdSense advertising (planned)
We plan to introduce Google AdSense. We do not currently serve AdSense ads. The following describes information handling once advertising starts.
On pages displaying ads, third-party vendors, including Google, may place and read cookies and collect information using web beacons or IP addresses. Google uses advertising cookies to serve ads based on previous visits to this and other websites. Google and its partners can display ads based on visits to this and other websites.
Advertising may transmit the viewed page URL, IP address, browser and device information, identifiers such as cookies, and ad impressions and interactions to Google and advertising partners. This information is used for ad delivery and personalization, measurement, and fraud prevention. These systems are separate from game record and preference cookies and our custom game measurement.
You can disable personalized ads in Google My Ad Center. For other third-party vendors, you can opt out of personalized advertising from participating vendors through AboutAds. Opting out does not remove ads altogether.
Before serving ads, we will implement consent management as required for the regions and delivery methods involved and update the implementation status on this page. See the links below for details of Google’s data use and retention.
Google Fonts
Some game pages use Google Fonts to display text. Font requests send information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and referrer to Google. Google states that the Google Fonts API does not set or log cookies or use the information collected to personalize ads.
Retention
Custom measurement data is stored in Workers Analytics Engine for three months. Cloudflare Web Analytics allows access to the previous six months of data.
The operator may separately keep exported aggregate reports that do not contain page identifiers as a record of improvements. Deleting cookies does not delete measurement data already sent or aggregate reports.

Policy changes
If the service or its information handling changes, we will update this page and its revision date.
